Headache has become a lifestyle hack across the globe. Whether it is a developed or developing country, most citizens are suffering from severe headache problems. There are several types of headaches humans experienced ranging from migraine to tension to cluster headache. The type depends on various factors like environment, ovulation, menstruation, menopause, dehydration, consuming excess alcohol or cigarette, excess screen time on mobile or laptops, etc. As civilized humans, we should try and figure out what triggers headaches in our case. The reason for headaches differs from individual to individual. Following daily routine things can help in lowering our headache encounters:
- Perfect mattress/ soothing pillow and sound sleep: For a perfect and sound sleep, one should have the appropriate mattress and adjustable pillow. Apart from the environment, good sleep requires proper posture. If you wake up fresh, the coming day is also fresh. No flickering light should be there in the room, as it triggers a migraine.
- Use of sunglasses: Keep your sunglasses on in the extreme Sun. Wear anti-glares when using laptops or gadgets. Further, limit the use of gadgets as it is a stimulus for headaches.
- Healthy diet: Include lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, healthy beverages, dairy products in your diet. Eating healthy keeps your mind healthy. Further one can pen down food items that often leads to headache.
- Keep hydrated: Water is the solution to most of our health-related problems. Drink 7-8 glasses of water to keep yourself hydrated.
- Manage stress levels: Manage your workloads and stressful conditions. It helps in relaxing your brain muscles and helps in dealing with your headaches.
- Relaxation: Involves yourself in stress-busters like yoga, meditation, zoom by techniques.
- Rely on caffeinated drinks: One can add coffee or tea to relax their brain muscles. It proves wonders to most people. The strong aroma of coffee can relieve you of your headaches.
