Winters are around the corner along with glimpses of pollution all over. Though the situation is getting better, smog can be still felt around. The gift of nature oxygen we breathe in has been adulterated to the maximum extent by us. By the coming of this new month, December, things are predicted to be getting better.
Enjoying the winter Sun has several benefits for nature and mankind apart from absorption of Vitamin D. Every second person is deficient in Vitamin D. direct sunlight is the best way to fulfill your deficiency. The beautiful season of the year is around the corner. I still remember that lazy noon of my childhood during winters. We used to spend most of our time in the sunshine; gobbling best of guava and oranges, oil massages, and munching cashews and peanuts. Let’s spend maximum time with our nears and dears during weekends in the sunshine. Some of the healthy activities about emotional and mental health can be taken care of.
- ORGANIZE PICNICS: The most awaited time of the year to visit with enjoying with your friends and families. Kids certainly wait around the year to be part and parcel of these picnics. Enjoy the beautiful sunny day (of course with minimum levels of pollution) at Sunder Nursery, Lodhi Garden, etc., or any other beautiful garden of your choice.
- TERRACE PARTIES: Go for beautiful sunny parties during this season. If you or anyone is known to have access to a terrace, it’s the best place to have a party. Put some beautiful green parts to get a garden feel.
- ENJOY FRUITS, SALADS, AND NUTS: We in our country get the best of carrot, radish, broccoli, guava, oranges, and papaya during this season. Include these fresh things in your menu. Go for fresh nuts, jaggery, and peanuts. Let’s kids enjoy this fresh produce instead of junk during picnics.
- PLAY OUTDOOR GAMES: Channelize your energy in playing outdoor games. Sweat out and drink fresh fruit juices and coconut water.
- INVOLVE SENIORS: As it is daytime and mercury does not dip much during a sunny day, take senior citizens along with you. They enjoy best in this type of scenario.
- NO GADGETS DAY: Everyone to put their mobiles and gadgets on silent mode. Enjoy nature to the fullest.
Let’s enjoy this winter season with outdoor activities but do take care of pollution levels.
